Manhattan Valentino's Recognized as Outstanding Achievement Restaurant

Lincoln, Nebraska -- May 21, 2009 -- Valentino's of America has recognized the Manhattan franchisee for Outstanding Achievement in overall restaurant operations and exceptional restaurant cleanliness (White Glove Award). The awards were presented at the company's annual franchise convention. "We are delighted to recognize this restaurant for outstanding commitment to excellence and quality," said Duane Thomas, Secretary/Treasurer of Valentino's of America, Inc., "These awards are symbolic of the high expectations and standards we have set for our franchisees and truly represent the integrity by which our entire company operates. Valentino's annual convention was a two day event held May 5 and 6 in Omaha, Nebraska. Valentino's is home to the "Grand Italian Buffet" and has been in existence since 19597. The total number of stores in the company system numbers 41 with locations in Nebraska, Kansas, South Dakota, North Dakota, Iowa and Minnesota.

If you have had the opportunity to attend a K-State basketball game this year, you have noticed an addition on the sidelines -- Valentino's Pizza.
Valentino's Pizza is truly a Manhattan tradition.  Valentino's is known for its pizza throughout the Midwest.  Valentino's has had a presence in Manhattan for nearly 30 years.
This year the two traditions come together, K-State Athletics and Valentino's Pizza.  Now you can see Valentino's being sold at Wildcat Basketball games.  There is talk that Manhattan's favorite pizza may be served at the Bill Snyder Family Stadium as well as other athletic events.  Where else can you find two winning venues under one roof -- Valentino's Pizza and  Wildcat Sports -- only in Manhattan!
